Meet Megan Mars

Attorney

Meg Mars is a Colorado-licensed attorney working in reproductive and family formation law, with a distinctive background in international human rights advocacy.

Meg brings a unique perspective to reproductive law, informed by her extensive work on sexual and reproductive health and rights in the international context. As a Legal Fellow with Science for Democracy, she prepared parallel reports for UN human rights treaty bodies and presented five times to the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights between 2023-2025. Her advocacy directly influenced the Committee's List of Issues, demonstrating her ability to effect meaningful change at the highest levels of international human rights law.

Prior to focusing on family formation law, Meg served as Law Clerk to General Counsel at Planned Parenthood Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley and as a Clinic Practitioner at the International Human Rights Center at Loyola Law School. She earned her J.D. from LMU Loyola Law School in 2023, where she was recognized with First Honors in International Law and served as Vice President of Reproductive Justice/LA.

Meg is also the founder of Where To Bloom, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating sexual shame as a barrier to human rights globally. This work reflects her commitment to creating a legal practice grounded in dignity, autonomy, and the fundamental belief that all families deserve compassionate, comprehensive legal support.
